Original Hamilton Spare Parts The waterjet has many advantages over conventional propeller drives: • Suitable for shallow drafts • No parts rotating outside the hull (lifeboats) • Good manoeuvrability even at low speeds • High comfort and ease of use • Good propulsion efficiency at higher speeds • Low maintenance costs and easy to replace in the event of an emergency The waterjets can be supplied with impellers from 200 mm up to approximately 1000 mm with powers from 100 kW to 5500 kW. There are four types of jets • HTX series, new, fast and manoeuvrable • HJ series, for vessels up to 20 metres • HM series for vessels from 20 to 60 metres • HT series, for vessels from 60 metres
